Peter is the Principal of UBK Lawyers and a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. Peter also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. His area of expertise includes Corporate Governance. Peter has been a Legal Counsel and Company Secretary for a major European based Pharmaceutical Company and is highly experienced in the Pharma sector.
Peter completed a Bachelor of Arts/Law from the University of Sydney in 1985 and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance in 2007. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia in 1986.
Before UBK Lawyers, Peter was for four years a partner of a medium-sized suburban law firm, prior to which he was in the employ of the NSW Police Service as a Manager Commercial Law. From 1991-1999, Peter served in the Australian Army Reserve.
Peter is married with two adult children and in his free time likes to spend time with his family. He also is an avid reader, particularly of military history.
Justice of the Peace
Liza has over 15 years’ experience working with Peter Fairfield including while he was a partner in a medium-sized suburban law firm. She specialises in working with Operators of Retirement Villages in NSW, Queensland and South Australia and has carriage of one of UBK’s major clients, Living Choice Australia limited.
Liza has two adult children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, walking and reading.
Hannah is an in-house Conveyancer at UBK Lawyers. She completed Conveyancing Law & Practice from the Macquarie University in 2016.
Before UBK Lawyers, Hannah worked as a Property Paralegal and Licensed Conveyancer for a small law firm. She has expertise in the sale and purchase of Real Property, Strata title and Commercial Property as well as large developments.
Hannah is married and has a young daughter. In her free time, Hannah likes to travel with her family, play soccer competitively and experiment in the kitchen.
Rayna is a Personal Assistant at UBK Lawyers. She has an ongoing part-time employment at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia where she has worked for 11 years. Rayna also has experience working in retail and office administration.
Rayna is married with two adult children and in her free time, she enjoys socialising, swimming and walking.
Helen has been the bookkeeper at UBK Lawyers for 6 years. She has a small bookkeeping business and is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
Before UBK, Helen had 20 years’ experience with an investment bank working in loan and credit administration.
Helen is married with one son and in her free time she enjoys outdoor pursuits and travelling.
